Revelation 1:13-16

New International Version

¹³and among the lampstands^(A) was someone like a son of man,^[a]^(B) dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet^(C) and with a golden sash around his chest.^(D) ¹⁴The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire.^(E) ¹⁵His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace,^(F) and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters.^(G) ¹⁶In his right hand he held seven stars,^(H) and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword.^(I) His face was like the sun^(J) shining in all its brilliance.

Revelation 5:9-14

⁹And they sang a new song, saying:^(A)

“You are worthy^(B) to take the scroll
    and to open its seals,
because you were slain,
    and with your blood^(C) you purchased^(D) for God
    persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.^(E)
¹⁰You have made them to be a kingdom and priests^(F) to serve our God,
    and they will reign^[a] on the earth.”^(G)

¹¹Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand.^(H) They encircled the throne and the living creatures^(I) and the elders.^(J) ¹²In a loud voice they were saying:

“Worthy is the Lamb,^(K) who was slain,^(L)
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and praise!”^(M)

¹³Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth^(N) and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying:

“To him who sits on the throne^(O) and to the Lamb^(P)
be praise and honor and glory and power,
for ever and ever!”^(Q)

¹⁴The four living creatures^(R) said, “Amen,”^(S) and the elders^(T) fell down and worshiped.^(U)
